Customization Period
The ceramic firing and drying may be affected by the weather, and the clay body is affected by temperature, which may result in a certain damage rate, so a waiting period of two weeks is required.
Custom Requirements
- High-definition photos of pets are needed, showing important body parts: head, ears, face, back, abdomen, tail, etc. Select the urn model from the list, and if you need to add creative elements, please select them as well.
- The can body and ears are made using models, not shaped according to the drawings. The artist will freely interpret based on the type of pet and artistic style; they cannot be made exactly the same. Those with high demands should order carefully.
- Handmade products may have certain weight and size discrepancies; if this is a concern, please order carefully.

Custom products take a longer time to produce and are not easy to make. Once the order is confirmed, it will be directly sent to the designer according to the order. There are no refunds once the order is placed, please purchase with caution.
Craftsmanship
The following is our process for customizing pet urns:
- Making the clay model: Because each pet has different morphological features such as its mouth, ears, and tail, we start with the client's pet order. First, our sculpting team creates a clay model based on the pet's characteristics. It is important to pay attention to the thickness of the model and the evenness of the clay's moisture. Otherwise, it can easily crack, deform, or have other defects later on. The clay model making process takes between 1 to 5 days.
- Biscuit firing: After the clay model is made, it needs to dry and undergo biscuit firing at 800 degrees. In winter, it is difficult for the clay model to dry. If one rushes the drying process and fires it before it is completely dry, the breakage rate will be higher later on. What looks like a good model could develop various cracks after high firing.
- Painting: All our artists in the painting team have over ten years of painting experience, have graduated from professional art colleges, and have passed at least 15 specialized training programs before they can start painting orders. They represent the pet's shape, fur, color, and other characteristics in their work. Especially, the techniques and materials for ceramic painting differ a lot from traditional painting, requiring a long time of practical experience to master. ...
- Glazing: The same type of glaze can exhibit different colors and flow depending on factors like thickness and temperature. Therefore, we often repeatedly test glazes on one hand, and on the other hand, once we are accustomed to a certain glaze, we will not easily change it. Depending on the shape of the piece, we generally use dipping and spraying techniques for glazing. The uniformity and thickness of the glaze will determine whether there will be defects like glaze pinholes after the porcelain is fired.
- Firing: Firing at a high temperature of 1250 degrees is the most critical step in the porcelain-making process. Nowadays, due to the prevalence of gas and electric kilns, loading and firing the kiln has become relatively easier. However, attention must still be paid to the temperature rise curve, firing temperature, and kiln opening time.
- Detail Handling: Handling details after the porcelain is fired is also very important, such as polishing the bottom, dealing with burrs, and packaging for safe shipping. In short, every step in the customization of ceramic pet urns must be done with care. Otherwise, it often results in wasted efforts.
